When Homer V. Cofer was born on May 8, 1888, in Arkansas, his father, William, was 54 and his mother, Agnes, was 43. He married Lila Bell Wiggs and they had two children together. He then married Rosa Lee Aunspaugh and they had ten children together. He died on December 26, 1935, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 47, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
