Mrs. Kathleen Enis Waller, 53, of 1229 Rock Island, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 19, 1915 in Union County, the daughter of Willie Beaty and Joseph S. Enis. She was a life-long resident of Union County and a member of Vantrease Untied Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Franklin S. Waller, El Dorado; one son, Wayne Waller, Pine Bluff; her mother, Mrs. Mamie F. Enis, El Dorado; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Joiner, El Dorado, Mrs. Marie Meeks, El Dorado, Mrs. Thelma Cooksey, El Dorado; one grandson, Wayne Waller, Jr. Pine Bluff; several nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vantrease United Methodist Church, with Rev. Noel Cross officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Barton, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, Pine Bluff. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young's. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the services. Active pallbearers will be W. C. Lea, A. H. Wood, Charles Herrington, Dwight Starritt, Gene Baggett and C. W. Reid, Jr. of Pine Bluff. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Charles Reid, C. E. Tommey, Dr. Dwight Moore and Jim Riley. (El Dorado Times - March 10, 1969)
