Tulsa, OK - Louise Alley (Foster) Rigney, 94, died Wednesday evening, October 10, 2018 at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa. Louise was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on June 6, 1924. She was the youngest of 4 children born to Gertrude (Byler) and J.D. "Dunc" Alley. Louise was raised in Mountain Home, and graduated from Mountain Home High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Foster, and they were blessed with 3 sons, Floyd, Joe and Roger. In the 1950's the Fosters moved several times while her husband was growing his funeral business. Louise, affectionately known as "Mama Lou" settled in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, in the late 1950's until early 1972.
Louise made her home in Tulsa for most of the last 40 years. She was a woman of strong faith and was a humble servant of God through First Baptist Church in Tulsa. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her three siblings: Raleigh, Dorothy and Don Alley; Wayne; her son, Floyd; and her 2nd husband, Frank Rigney of Muskogee.
She is survived by 2 sons, Joe Foster and his wife, Linda of Muskogee; Roger Foster and his wife, Kaki of Dallas, daughter-in-law, Dindy Foster of Tulsa; 3 grandchildren; 4 nieces and a nephew; and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Oklahoma Methodist Manor, 4134 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74135. Graveside committal will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Mountain Home Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Dodson officiating.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
