Naomia E. "Big Mama" Wiley, 85 of Greenbrier, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Born in Livingston, Texas, on September 7, 1923, she was a daughter to the late Floyd L. and Mamie A. (Patterson) Perkins. Naomia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and of the Baptist faith. She loved to travel, especially with her husband, they visited 49 of the 50 states prior to his death and she went to the last state, Hawaii, with her daughters. She traveled to many European countries and the Holy Land. She enjoyed fishing, family camping trips and sewing.

Naomia was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Robert Clyde Wiley.

Survivors include her daughters: Emma Jean Sublett and husband Raymond and Janette Goodrich and husband John both of Greenbrier; five grandchildren: Brenda Sublett, Robert Goodrich and wife Wanda, Brad Goodrich, Amy Evans and husband Herb all of Greenbrier and Barbara Klein and husband Randy of Quitman; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mina Morse of Jacksonville, AR, Thelma Rice and husband Wayne of Huntsville, TX; a sister-in-law: Katherine Sherrouse of Brenham, TX and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Greenbrier, with Damon Cardin, Randy Klein, Wayne Noggle, Brittany Jones, Jessica Bishop and Heath Goodrich serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, at the funeral home.
