Rosalie Hassell, age 90, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, formerly of Judsonia, died Thursday, January 17, 2008. She was born January 4, 1918 in Judsonia a daughter of the late Sidney and Lucille Miller Hughes.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Henderson of Denham Springs, La.; a sister, Jane Stevens of Judsonia; her grandchildren, Mary Rose Bordelon , Josh Henderson and Matthew Henderson; five great-grandchildren; nieces, Phyllis Steward of Judsonia, Rosie Alexander (Ron) of Texas and Dr. Robert Warren (Tommie) of Little Rock.
Interment services will be private. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
