June 23, 1954 - May 7, 2013
Nancy Murray, 58 of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Life Touch Hospice after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 23, 1954, to Joe W. Ethridge and Janis McKinnie Gandolfi.
She worked as a receptionist and customer service representative for the Life and Health Department at United Insurance Company. She also worked at ConAgra\ Pilgrim’s Pride for over 20 years where she made life long friends. Nancy loved flowers, baking, music and dancing.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Survivors include her brother, Jerry Ethridge of El Dorado, and sister Kristie O’Quinn of Mississippi, two nieces, Amy LeBlanc of Atlanta, GA, Maggie Ethridge of Baton Rouge, LA; her aunt, Lou McKernon (John) of West Virginia; and her “Baby Girl” Wendy Chenoweth of Smackover, also her special canine companion, McGregor.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
