Huston Ruben Walker, 62, of 832 Crestwood, Rd., died Friday night in a local hospital. He was a native of Angeline County, Texas, and was employed by the Cotton Belt Railroad. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Mrs. Naomi Dear Walker; two sons, Charles Glover of Camden, and Joe Glover of Shreveport, La., four sisters, Mrs. J. T. Alley of Shreveport, Mrs. F. L. Roberts of Silsbee, Tex.; Mrs. Lula Collier of Woodville, Tex., and Mrs. Mildred Grogan Sweat of Atlanta, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Cora W. Walker of Shreveport; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park. (Camden News - October 2, 1972)
