Martha Jo Nutt, 92, of Hampton died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home. She was born June 19, 1924 in Harrell, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Harrell United Methodist Church in Harrell. She is preceded in death by her parents, W. J. “Wix” Jones and Jenny Julia Jones; husband, W. S. Nutt, Jr.; one daughter, Jackie Harris; two granddaughters, Monica Oliver and Lacey Welch; one great granddaughter, Lexie Welch; one brother, Bill Jones; and two sisters, Floyd Johnson and Elizabeth Tobin. She is survived by one son, Floyd Walter Nutt and wife Wendy of Hampton; two daughters, Josie Oliver and husband Bobby of Hampton; and Jeanette Nutt of North Little Rock; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Smith and Rev. Charles Stover officiating. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Earnest Cemetery Association. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
