January 8, 1921 - August 16, 2017
Lena Spencer, 96, of Springhill, LA, passed away, Wednesday, August 16, 2017.
She was born January 8, 1921 to Frank and Helen Holt Weatherspoon in Varina, NC. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death are her parents; seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Joe Garland Spencer of Springhill, LA; two sons, William Hall of Little Rock, Steven C. Hall of Greenbriar; and daughter, Carol L. McDade and husband Rick of El Dorado.
A private graveside service will be held under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Memorials may be made to the Union County Animal Protection Society, 1000 Sunset Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
