Mary Frances Linton Stevens, 81, of Norphlet, AR, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Stevens was born September 15, 1936 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Howard D Linton and Irene Norma Gray Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carol Stevens and two daughters, Mary Lynn Brumley and Bobbie Lynell Brumley Linton.
Mrs. Stevens, a hard working woman, worked at the NBC Bank for 18 years then extended that hard work ethic towards taking care of her husband of 51 years Carol G. Stevens. They enjoyed boating, outdoor activities, and watching westerns from Wagon Train and Rawhide. They loved each other even after his passing but now is finally happy to see him again.
Survivors include her daughter, Regina Stevens Whittington and husband Ricky, her granddaughter, Mary Frances Earnest, a grandson, Shane Thompson and wife Angie, two great grandsons, Tyler Earnest and Seth Thompson, one brother, James Linton and wife Dorothy.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2019, at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Chapel of the Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR. Interment will be in the Arlington Memorial Park, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Touch Hospice House.
