Claudia F. Snowden 89 of El Dorado died Wednesday ,July 27,2016 at the John R.Williamson Hospice House. She was the youngest of three children born to Robert May & Dezerra Adams on June 18,1927 in Randolph,Louisiana . She was a member of St.Vestal C.M.E.Church, where she served on the Missionary Auxiliary Board. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,James Snowden ; a son,John E.Snowden;a daughter ,Evonne Snowden & a sister,Florida Canady. Survivors are (2) sons: Bernard (Ethel) of DeSoto,Texas & Billy Ray (Kay) of Forney,Texas;(2) daughters: Janice Meeks & Beverly Schultz both of El Dorado;(1) brother : King May of Seattle,Washington; 18 grandchildren & 27 great grandchildren . Funeral service will be Tuesday ,August 2,2016 at 11:00am at St.Vestal C.M.E.Church with Rev.Fannie Washington officiating . Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. All public viewing will be after the service only.
