Murvell Harbour Altom, 92, of Batesville, died Friday, September 28, 2007. She was born May 26, 1915, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, the daughter of Walker and Lena Davis Harbour.
She is survived by three sons, Daleway Altom of Mannford, Oklahoma, George Van Altom of Dunkin, Oklahoma, and Henry Altom of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; two daughters, Charlene Emerson of Pleasant Plains and Annanette Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; 20 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Willie Frances Gosnell and an infant son; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation is Monday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services are Tuesday at the Cedar Grove Methodist church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
