Glenda Sue Griffin, age 69, of Johnsville, AR, died Saturday January 16, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Born March 15, 1946, in Bradley County, AR, a daughter of the late Edward Nathan Lowry and Ouita Floy Ferrell Lowry. She was a retired Bookkeeper for Johnsville Sand & Gravel and a member of Hermitage Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were sisters Dorothy Armstrong and Sarah Godfrey. Survivors are one son Ed Kelly of Memphis, TN. Two daughters Gina Richard and spouse Terry Don of Star City, AR, and Johnna Sue McMurry and spouse Sam of Banks, AR. Seven grandchildren Laura West and spouse Jason, Evan Kelly, Cody McMurry, Katie Richard, Marti McMurry, Cole Richard and Tess Kelly. Two great-grandchildren Landen West and Paisley West. Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Monday January 18, at Hermitage Baptist Church with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Daniel Haigwood officiating. Music was by Dewayne Godfrey and Kelly Haigwood. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery at Johnsville, AR, by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tommy Ferrell, Eddie Ferrell, Scotty Ferrel, Mitch Wardlaw, Clay Lowry, Gregg Armstrong and Dewayne Godfrey. Honorary pallbearers were Sonny Rainey, Kenneth Ferrell and Donnie Ray Lowry.
