Obituary:
Charlie Bertram Morgan, age 85, of Hermitage, Arkansas died Thursday, June 24, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born June 25, 1924 at Ingalls, Arkansas a son of the late John Davis Morgan and Stella Harrod Morgan. He was a retired Cooperative Management Forrester for Potlatch Corp and a life long member and Deacon of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Yvonne Mosley Morgan whom he married on March 31, 1951 at Lucedale, Miss; 1 son John Thomas Morgan, Warren, Ark; 2 daughters Betty Sue Stanfield and spouse Jerrel, Warren, Ark. and Sharon Warren and spouse Bennie, Monticello, Ark; 1 sister Mary Morgan Easterling, West Monroe, La; 4 grandchildren Scott Stanfield and Tammy Stanfield both of Sheridan, Ark, Charla Ayala and spouse A. J., Warren, Ark, DeAnn Whitehurst and spouse William, Monticello, Ark; 5 great grandchildren Samantha Stanfield and Jarrett Stanfield both of Sheridan, Ark, Alex Ayala and Alli Ayala both of Warren, Ark. and Braxton Whitehurst, Monticello, Ark. He was also preceded in death by a brother John Morgan and 2 sisters Lillie Mae Best and Flora Vickers and 13 half brothers and sisters. Funeral services were 2:00pm Sunday, June 27, at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church at Ingalls with Elder W.W. Hudson officiating. Elder Joe Evans was song leader. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were David Dees, Lynwood Dees, Allen Morgan, Matt Harrod, Brad Harrod, Brent Harrod, Gene Easterling and Paul Easterling. Memorials preferred to Antioch Primitive Baptist Church, 304 Bradley 49 West Hermitage, Arkansas.
