When George Washington Bradley was born on October 29, 1877, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, Thomas, was 22 and his mother, Willie, was 20. He married Jessie Reed Qualls on March 11, 1902, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had ten children in 23 years. He died on August 20, 1967, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 88.
