Kathy Harrell, 57, of Camden, left this earth and entered into God’s Kingdom in the presence of many loved ones at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock, on Monday May 1, 2017.
Kathy was born May 6, 1959, in Camden to the late Norris Grady and Frances Lavon (Riddick) Miller. She was the owner of the Shabby Chic Hair Cottage in Camden and a member of the Brister Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannan Whitt and husband Billy of Texarkana, Texas; son, Paul Covington of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Charle Covington, Anna Blair Story, Emma Covington, and Miller Whitt; brothers, Jimmy Miller of Texarkana, Texas, Donnie and Tawana Miller of Hamburg, and Doug and Sharon Miller of Emerson; special friend of many years, Melinda Jo Palmer of Camden; life-long best friend, Nell Pharr; Charlene Fowler “Momma” of Magnolia; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends close enough that she called them family.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 6-8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Friday, May 5 at 2 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eric Goble officiating and assisted by Dr. Jimmy Burks. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Haynie, Jeremy Covington, Roger Riddick, Charles Riddick, Brad Turner, Zeke Miller, Austin Toland, and Lane Lewis.
Momma was a loving, selfless woman who enjoyed the company of others on “The Hill” in Camden.
The family requests memorial donations are sent to Fairview United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 2603 Mt Holly Rd, Camden, AR 71701.
