Kathy “Granna” Disney 62, of Mayflower passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born January 14, 1953 in Benham, Kentucky to the late Jackie McCloud. She is also preceded in death by her step-father, Thomas R. McCloud; sister, Beth Cornett; brother, John Richmond and mother-in-law, Wanda Disney.

Kathy was a member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She touched many lives in Mayflower and Oak Grove school districts throughout her career as a teacher’s aide. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, granna and friend described as sweet, selfless, joyful and encouraging.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary M. Disney; son, Aaron Disney (Amy) of Cabot; daughter, Rachel Lyle (Joseph) of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Joshua and Caleb; sister, Trudy Broadaway (Mike) of Quitman; brother, Morris Richmond Sr. (Debbie) of North Little Rock; father-in-law, Ralph Disney of Mayflower and many other loving family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock with Pastor Travis Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Lyle, Brett Broadaway, Blake Broadaway, Mike Broadaway, Morris Richmond Jr., and Mark Blevins. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Danny Burnett and Morris Richmond Sr. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Church.
