When Carroll Camp Adams was born on August 21, 1902, in Plumerville, Arkansas, his father, Arthur, was 18 and his mother, Lizzie, was 15. He had three sons and one daughter with Lois Marguerite Ferguson. He died in January 1969 in Mayflower, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried there.
