When Claud Cornelius Stanton was born on March 25, 1900, in Ar, Gotland, Sweden, his father, John, was 25 and his mother, Libby, was 21. He married Roma D Mcmillen on December 4, 1919, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had five children in 11 years. He died on January 7, 1993, in Faulkner, Arkansas, at the age of 92, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
