J. P. Pennington, 83, died early Thursday morning at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren. Mr. Pennington was a lifelong resident of Bradley county. He was a member of the Methodist church and had been a school board member for 39 years. He is survived by three sons, Paul and Roscoe Pennington, of near Warren and Troy Pennington of Naconna, Texas; and three daughters, Mrs. Nolan Mosley of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Jess Willis of Dumas and Mrs. W. K. Sharp of El Dorado. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. (The El Dorado Times - May 13, 1965)
