When Ray R. Roy German was born on December 25, 1904, in Arkansas, his father, Charles, was 27 and his mother, Irene, was 29. He married Mary Louise Waters on July 11, 1950, in Saline, Arkansas. He died on March 17, 1971, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
