Clara B. Montgomery, 97, of Greenbrier passed away Friday, March 17, 2017.
She was born March 24, 1919 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Charles and Maggie
Ward Acre. Clara was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years,
Dalton S. Montgomery, brothers, Cecil, Evans, and Frank Acre, sisters, Betty
Hammel, Molly Reynolds, and Marcello Phillips.
Clara was a longtime member of the Guy Church of Church of Christ and employed at PloyVend in Conway until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially for her
family and friends. Most of all Clara loved children and enjoyed babysitting, especially for her
family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Clara is survived by her sister, Rose Lea Stacks, nephew, Roy Montgomery and a host of other
nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 12pm Monday March 20th with funeral services following at 1pm at
Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier, with Bobby Acre officiating. Burial will follow at
Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy. Serving as pallbearers will be Russell, Paul, Austin,
Glendon, and Justin Acre, and Ronnie Mobbs. Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Dyson.

Dalton Sanford Montgomery, 89, of Greenbrier, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006.
Born February 25, 1916 in Heber Springs, a son of the late James E. Montgomery and Dora L. (Price) Montgomery, he was a farmer and member of Guy Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Clara (Acre) Montgomery; a sister, Elois Glover of Guy; and a nephew, Roy Montgomery of Greenbrier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Doyle, William, and Leverne Montgomery, and three sisters, Geneva Mobbs, Floy (Grimes) Austin, and Bell Wallace.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Mobbs, Larry Grimes, Nathan Glover, Howard Glover, Jr., Clark Stevenson, and Charles Stacks. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Montgomery, Bob Montgomery, Fay Montgomery, Jerry Montgomery, Rickie Montgomery, Charles Grimes, and Carroll Glover, Jr.
