Magnolia, Ark - William Alvis McGuffin, 56, of Stephens died early Thursday in a Camden hospital. He was a native of Jefferson, Tex. Mr. McGuffin was an employe of Berry Petroleum in Stephens, and was a member of the Stephens Methodist Church. Survivors include huis wife, Mrs. Pearl McGuffin, two sons, Bill and Bob of the home, two brothers, Bill and Curtis of Lodi, Texas and two sisters, Mrs. Venice McFarland of Trees, La. and Mrs. Bernice Stetson of Shreveport. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Friday at the Stephens Methodist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park at Magnolia by Lewis Funeral Home. (Camden News - March 31, 1967)
