Rita Hern Hardwick, age 60, of Denver, Colorado, went to be with our Lord on August 22, 2007, after a nine year battle with breast cancer.
Rita was born June 9, 1947, to Velma and Ted Hern, Sr of Atkins, Arkansas. She was a graduate of the Hector High School Class of 1966. She is survived by her mother Velma Hern of Atkins; brothers and sisters; John and Lois Hern of Sheridan, Sharon and Jerry Morganthall of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ted, Jr and Cathy Hern of Bee Branch, Roger Hern of Hector, Loretta and Kenny Hinkston of Atkins, Annette Millikin of Atkins, Jimmy and Norma Hern of Rogers and her step-grandmother, Helen Southall of Littleton, Colorado, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Lemley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
