Mary Burnett Treat, age 98, passed away November 26, 2012, in Holiday Island, Arkansas, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born January 7, 1914, to Walter and Mamie Burnett and was looking forward to celebrating her 99th birthday with her family.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Treat of Ft Smith and brothers, Durard Burnett of Atkins and Cray Burnett of North Little Rock.
Mrs Treat is survived by her loving daughter, Jana Darr Farris; caring son-in-law, Huey Farris; grandchildren whom she adored, David and Derek Farris of Wichita, Kansas, Sara Elizabeth Cummings and husband Mike of Springfield, Missouri and Rustin Treat; great-grandchildren, Preston Schaeffer of Springfield, Missouri, Josie and Jake Farris of Wichita and a great-grandson due in April, 2013. We all have wonderful memories of our cherished Mama Treat. She is also survived by sisters, Nell Warren of Atkins and Clarene Swearingen of Little Rock; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Janet and Jerry Beeler of Lampe, Missouri and Margaret and Gary Snyder of Branson, Missouri.

A special thanks to the Holiday Island Patient's Choice Hospice.

Graveside service and burial will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 30, 2012, at Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Robert Woody officiating. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
