Mother: Nancy Amy Lipe
Sula Joyce (Lipe) McElroy Shock, 87 of Conway, passed from this life on March 28, 2013. She was born November 23, 1925 in Mt. Salem, Arkansas the late Marcellus Washington and Nancy Amie Hunnicutt Lipe. Ms. Shock is preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Barney, Amos and Infant Brother; sister, Helen and twin sister, Eula.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnna McElroy Corder and husband Mike; grandsons, Michael (Amy) of Vilonia; Matthew (Krissy) Corder of Conway; great grandchildren, Shelby; Abbie Beth; Adi; Kinley; and Grayson.
Ms. Shock was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock and North Little Rock after over 30 years of service. She loved her job and the people she took care of. She also loved to quilt, crochet and work in her yard.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2013 with services to follow at 1:00 PM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Family request that memorials be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
