November 6, 1912 - April 8, 1969
Thomas Morgan Parker, 56, of 820 Rock Island St., died in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 6, 1912, in El Dorado, the son of Thomas and Pearl Arnold Parker, he was a lifelong resident of Union County and was a newspaper man. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Verta P. Woolley, El Dorado, and Mrs. Lucille P. Elmore, El Dorado; and three nieces, Mrs. James L. Combs, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Homer Brady, Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Vance Smith, El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Young's Chapel with Dr. Alvin Murray and Dr. Don Harbuck officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. (El Dorado Times - April 9, 1969)
