May 6, 1875 - February 4, 1972
Mrs. Bobbie J. Hudson, 96, of Route 1, Royal (near Hot Springs) died early Friday in a nursing home in that area. She was a former resident of El Dorado. Born May6, 1875, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of William H. and Anna Nance Jordan. She was a practical nurse and had been a resident of Hot Springs since 1961. She was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Floyd F. Hudson of Royal, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday at 10 a.m. at the Rumph Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Barry officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - February 7, 1972)
