Brodie Lee Parker, 79, of Fordyce, died Thursday September 25, 2008 at the Dallas County Medical Center. He was born in Warren, Arkansas on August 21, 1929 to the late Henry Lee & Doris Ann Moseley Parker.
He is survived by his four sons, David Wayne Parker of Texas, James Lee Parker of Hillsboro, TX, Madison Wayne Parker of Houston, TX, Ricky Lee Parker, of Huntsville, TX; two daughters, Linda Ellen Parker, Shelia Diane Parker of Houston, TX; two brothers, Lee Roy Parker of Texas, Clyde Parker of Texas; & one sister, Juanita Distele of Lorain, OH & a friend Sarah Sturgis of Kingsland, AR. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Geneva Ann Parker, Flora Bell, Loise Ann Parker, & two brothers, James Burford Parker, Randell Ray Parker.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday September 29, 2008 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in McFarland Cemetery, with the Rev. Hammett Evans officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com
