Mrs. Eva Greer, 57,a Norfork resident, died Friday in the Boone County Hospital at Harrison. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30PM in Galatia Church, with Rev. Corbie Stone officiating.
Mrs. Greer was born at Dora, MO on June 9, 1901. Her parents were the late Will Acklin and Beckie Alexander Acklin.
Mrs. Greer, who had resided in this community the greater part of her life, had been a member of the Methodist Church since 1920.
Survivors are her husband, James W. Greer; four sons, Thurlo of Kansas City, MO and Vero, Lynn and Glenn Greer, all of Norfork; three daughters, Mrs. Virgie Whitfield, Mrs. Verlie Harris and Miss Thelma Greer, all of Norfork; seven grandchildren; a brother, Noble Acklin and three sisters, Mrs. Lou Winn, Mr. Ada Harris, and Mrs. Gracie Lawson, all of Mt. Home.
Interment was in the Galatia cemetery with Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
