September 13, 1874 - June 19, 1967
Mrs. Beulah Elizabeth Parrott, 92, 414 Church St., died Tuesday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. Born Sept. 19, 1874, in Marietta, Tex., she was the daughter of Ellen Wommack and Joseph Rountree. Mrs. Parrott had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Floyd Walker for 33 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Other than Mrs. Walker, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Opal Fabin of Corpus Christi, Tex.; nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. J. Rayford McLean officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's. Pallbearers will be Deawood Sims, Murrell Edens, Elliott Cobb, A. W. Estes, Melton Lee Williams, William Nolan, Burney Wilson and William Craig. (El Dorado Daily News - June 21, 1967)
