Evelyn Jean Mock, 77 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Bearden, AR passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She was born October 03, 1933 in Jacksonville, FL to William and Dorothy Simmons Sumlin. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, TN and a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bearden, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ted E. Mock, Sr.; sister, Patricia Fansler; stepmother, Fannie Sumlin; and father, William Sumlin.
She is survived by her sons, Ted E. Mock, Jr. and wife, Jo of Powell, TN, William Michael Mock, and wife, Beverly of Houston, TX and David Wayne Mock of Houston, TX; sister, Violet Ingram and husband, William of Ellabell, GA; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral servcies will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bearden, AR with burial in Salem Cemetery. Reverend Kevin Stevicks will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
