Zettie Griffith Link, 97, of Bearden died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas. She was born June 23, 1919 in Bluff City, Arkansas. Zettie was a member of Bearden First United Methodist Church, lifetime member of the P.T.A. and in 1937, she was chosen as the first fair queen of Nevada County. She was also a homemaker and an artist. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hildre Griffith and Stella Hardwick Griffith; husband, Leo Link; and one son, Dwight Jobe Griffith. Zettie is survived by one son, Ralph Link and wife Pat of Bearden; one daughter, Denise Link of Bearden; two grandchildren, Amanda Poe and husband Jeremy of Benton, and Amy Daugherty and husband Max of Atkins; and two great grandchildren, Jessica and Zach Poe of Benton. Memorials may be made to Bearden First United Methodist Church PO Box 161 Bearden, AR 71720. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bearden First United Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip Salmon officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/Bearden.
