Richard L. Lindsey, aged 54, died at his home near Bearden Sunday. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Richard Lindsey, of Bearden, and Lloyd of Little Rock; five daughters, Mrs. Ligon Allen of Camden, Mrs. Stewart Cooke of Bearden, Mrs. Jack Lamb of Hot Springs, Mrs. Gerald Green of Fordyce, and Miss Emma Jean Lindsey of Little Rock. Besides his immediate family, he is survived by two brothers, E. P. of Cullendale, and L. O. of Bearden; two sisters, Mrs. Mac Owens of Hampton, and Mrs. Lucy Caldwell of Benton; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Salem Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. (Camden News - February 16, 1948)
