Relda Bea Lindsey Lamb went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the age of 87.
She was born on June 17, 1924 to Richard and Emma Lindsey of the Salem Community, Bearden, AR.
Out of the 70 plus years of her working career, her most memorable time was at the Fordyce Bus Station, and serving her coffee drinkers at Relda B's, Linda's Restaurant, and Bear City Diner. She also enjoyed getting together with her brothers and sisters to play cards, dominos, and visit.
Relda was a life time member of Salem Baptist Church in the Salem Community, and has been active in the First Baptist Church of Eagle Mills for many years.
She is survived by daughters, Reece Lamb of Antonine, AR, Rita (Charles) Milholland, Freida (Gene) Griffis, Cindy Selby, and Linda Lamb all of Bearden; grandchildren, Paul (Katherine) Milholland, Tony (Sthveny) Selby, Gary (Tina) Griffis, Anita Anthony, Audrey Hawkins (David) Gorman, Jeromy Brickley, Mendy (Jeff) Kelly, Derek (Frances) Williams, Given Griffis, Lindsey Yeager, and Jack Lamb; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Ruby) Lindsey of Kilgore, TX; and sisters, Velma (Hallie) Nutt of Mabelvale, AR, and Jean Parnell of Dallas, TX, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Lamb and Bill Evans; son Tommy Lamb; son-in-law, Marion Selby; grandson, Mark Selby; brother, Wesley Lindsey; and sisters, Zula Allen and Dean Green.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Eagle Mills.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Eagle Mills with Rev. Chris Morgan and Rev. Harold Harper officiating.
Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery, Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, or to the First Baptist Church of Eagle Mills Building Fund.
