Martha Lee Ott, 90
Martha Lee Ott, age 90, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Creekside Health and Rehab in Yellville.
Martha was born Auust 23, 1926 in Fort Scott, Kansas to the late L. Stanley and Lillian (Bailey) Brace.
She married Hubert Hugh Ott January 2, 1949. She worked for AP&L for 43 years. Martha loved the Lord and her church family at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. She was the oldest living member until her passing. She served as church treasurer and Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved baking and decorating cakes. She was always the picture taker at all family gatherings. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, staying up to date, reading the newspaper. She will be missed by all. Her family wants to please thank everyone for their prayers.
Mrs. Ott is survived by two brothers: Leroy B. "Buzzy" Brace of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Stephen "Butch" Brace of Newport News, Virginia; a sister-in-law Bonnie Smith-Hart of Wichita, Kansas; five nephews: Robert L Stone, Jr. of Edmond, Washington; Dr. Michael L. Brace of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Christopher D. Brace of Newport News, Virginia; Steve Jones of Yellville, Arkansas; Larry Joe Jones of Harrison, Arkansas; four nieces: Mary Kay Stone of Middletown, Ohio; Martha Jo Ann (Stone) Martinez of Liberty Township, Ohio; Jan Beaver of Yellville, Arkansas; and Toni Strange of Wichita, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert April 5, 1997; and her sister, Jo Ann (Brace) Stone.
Visitation for Martha will be 1:00 pm until service time, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Kem Reeder officiating.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Morrow, Cody Burrow, Bill Melton, Donald Mears, Larry Bearden, and Shawn Bogle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jan Beaver, Steve Jones, Larry Joe Jones, Tony Strange, Betty Morrow, and Betty James Carson.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are By Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
