Broadwater
Lonnie Carl Broadwater, 43, of Paragould, died Wednesday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Born in Joplin, Mo., he was an employee of Peerless Corporation and was an Army veteran.
He was a member of the Center Hill First Baptist Church, Sunday School director, Vacation Bible School director, adult Sunday school teacher, a member of the church choir and a member of the Executive Board of the Greene County Baptist Association.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Broadwater of Paragould; one son, Randall Broadwater of Oak Grove; two daughters, Carol Forschler of Thayer, Mo., and Sara Broadwater of the home; his father, Lonnie Broadwater of Orofina, Idaho; his mother, Frances Broadwater of Brandsville, Mo.; one brother, Ben Broadwater of Branson, Mo.; three sisters, Barbara Faye of Groves, Texas, Colleen Morrison of Springfield, Mo., and Lorna Broadwater of Brandsville, Mo.; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and by one sister.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10 at Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould, with Sam Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Whittaker Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Dodd, Luke Hoggard, Gary Gobyne, Mike Brown, Lewis Miller and Dan Evert.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
