OZARK James H. "Jim" Bird, 65, of Ozark died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in Fort Smith. He was a retired toolmaker at Magnetics of Booneville.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; three daughters, Shannon Chambers and Audrea Keck, both of Port Clinton, Ohio, and Lori Edgmon of Ozark; a son, Kendall Howell of Ozark; a brother, Bell Kirkpatrick of Everett, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve and Walter King, Frank Medlock, Buddy Cloos, Kendall Howell, James Edgmon.

Deborah
Deborah Jean Bird, 68, of Ozark, Arkansas died July 3, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was born May 17, 1948 in Ozark to Russell Asa and Lee Jean Tolbert Williams and was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, James Bird and brother, Waymond Williams.

She was retired from her salon, A New Image, and was a member of the Lighted Tabernacle Baptist
Church in Chismville, Arkansas.

Deborah is survived by one son Kendall Howell and wife Lesa of Ozark and one daughter Lori Edgmon and husband James of Ozark; five grandchildren, Kendra Lau and husband Vincent of Lamar, Arkansas, Kari and Joshua Edgmon, and Miranda and Jordan Easom all of Ozark; one great-grandchild, Jamie Diane Edgmon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery in Ozark with Brother Wayne Looney officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
