Mr. Doy Dean “Poppy” DeBoard, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Saturday September 12, 2015. He was the son of the late Artie and Enola DeBoard. He proudly servedduring WWII in the Army National Guard. He was married for 49 years to the love of his life Lou Nell Keathley DeBoard. Doy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood work.
Mr. DeBoard is survived by 1 son: Doy Lynn “Butch” DeBoard (Marilyn) of Conway, Arkansas; 2 daughters: Brenda Loveland (Buddy) of Quitman, Arkansas and Patricia Ann Smith (Carl) of West Memphis, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Bethany Webb(Scott) , Cary DeBoard, Michele Norsworthy (John), Kevin DeBoard (Kim), Brooke Loter (Kasey), Brit Smith (Heather), 12 great grandchildren; Wade, Shelby, Maggie, Dayton, Britney, Lillie, Ally, Austin, Makala, Anna, Tucker, and Jessie; other relatives and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, 1 brother: Charles Leonard DeBoard and 1 sister: Bertha Lou DeBoard.
Funeral service for Mr. DeBoard was held Monday morning, September 14, 2015, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home.
Mr. DeBoard was laid to rest alongside his beloved wife at at Vilonia Cemetery.
