Zelma Lavern Pectol, 90, of Batesville died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in a Batesville hospital.
Born Jan. 16, 1918, in Calico Rock, she was the daughter of J.M. and Leona Carter. She was a retired cook and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Perry Pectol of Batesville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son; four brothers; and four sisters.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with J.B. Milligan and Troy Henley officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Rounds, Ronald Hall, Ricky Reed, Steve Jeffrey, Roydean Satterwhite, Rick Elumbaugh, Jeromy Walker and Keith Bowers.
Honorary pallbearers are Durwood Elms, Donald Boles, Leroy Clem, Randolph Williams and J.T. Skinner.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
