Mrs. Ruby R. Wiggins, 81 of the Tower Apartments at 99 North Main, Memphis TN died October 10, 1979 at Memphis Hospital. McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas has charge. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church. She leaves a son, Lt. Col. Wesley W. Wiggins of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Miss Willie Reid, and Mrs. LaVerne Threadgill, both of Memphis, and Mrs. Jewel F. Magbee and Mrs. Bessie Emmett, both of Little Rock; a brother Hallett D. Reid of Memphis and her daughter-in-law and two granddaughters.

J.A. Reid aged 75, for a number of years justice of the peace of Cadron township, died at his home 1025 Watkins St, Monday afternoon at 5pm after a lingering illness. Mr. Reid was stricken with paralysis several years ago and never fully recovered from the attack.
He was a native of Kentucky, where he was born May 20, 1860, and came to Conway 24 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist church, Green Cove Lodge No 107, F&A M and Bendemcer Grotto. Surviving Mr Reid are his wife, Mrs. Lura Reid; his three sons, Allen, Jessie S, And Hallett Reid of Conway, and five daughters, Miss Willie Reid of Conway, Mrs W.H. Wiggins, and Mrs J. H. McDonald of Memphis, Mrs. Pat Emmett of Hamburg and Mrs. J F Maghee of Little Rock. Funeral services were held at the Reid home this afternoon at 3pm conducted by Rev. Albea Godbold, pastor of the First Methodist Church and assisted by Dr. E.P. J. Garrott, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
His tombstone shows the date of his funeral rather than the date of his death.
