August 30, 1898 - July 12, 1974
Mrs. Leona Mae Long Mullins, 75, of Blytheville, died Thursday in a Blytheville hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Young's Chapel with the Rev. Henry Davenport officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young's. She was born Aug. 27, 1898, in Pollock, La., to Kenneth and Julia Hughes Long. Mrs. Mullins was a former El Dorado resident, and had lived in Blytheville about 10 years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the Rebecca Lodge and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth W. Mullins of Blytheville and Joseph E. Mullins of Baytown, Tex.; and 10 grandchildren. (El Dorado New-Times - July 13, 1974)
