A. L. Meador, 59, of Felsenthal, died suddenly Monday afternoon while returning home from work. He was an engineer for Olin Mathieson Chemical Co. and was a member of the Felsenthal Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sadie Deshazo Meador of Felsenthal; five daughters, Mrs. Elvie Ray Stinson of Monroe, La., Mrs. J. P. Laum of Huttig; Mrs. Pauline Vaughn of Pasadena, Tex., Mrs Phoebe Foster of California and Mrs. Katie Adams of Rayville, La.; six sons, William Meador of Huttig, Wilbur Gene Meador and Aubry Meador of Houston, Tex., Charles Meador of Rapid City, N. D., Jesse Deshazo of Jennings, La., and Charles Deshazo of Huttig; one sister Mrs. Grace Martin of Nacogdoches, Tex.; one brothers, J. W. Patterson of Wooten, Tex., and 34 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Pratt-Barton Funeral Home. (The El Dorado Times - June 6, 1964)
