Mary Beatrice “Patsy” Rogers, age 93, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Rogers was born December 5, 1920 at Rome, Mississippi to the late Samuel C. Lindsey and the late Clytee Gentry Lindsey. She was a member of West Helena Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Patty Guthrie of Southaven, Mississippi, Mary Jo Maree of West Helena, and Martha Polk of Byhalia, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Roger Russell, III, Jimmy Rogers, Frank Maree, David Maree, Bob Bolton and Kristina Polk; thirteen great-grandchildren, Dylan Russell, Reese Russell, Madison Rogers, Jonathan Rogers, Addison Mickle, Zoe Maree, Layla Maree, Riley Maree, Paisleigh Cook, Skylar Bolton, Devin Bolton, Kyleigh Polk and Sydney Bolton; and a sister, Betty Carr and husband, Bob, of Branson, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 47 years, John Watson Rogers.

Services for Patsy Rogers will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 at West Helena United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park at West Helena. Reverend Milton Boyd will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Rogers’ grandsons, Roger Russell, III, Jimmy Rogers, Frank Maree, David Maree, Bob Bolton and Sydney Bolton.

Memorials may be made to Methodist Healthcare Hospice, 6416 Quince Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38119.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
