Louise Little Purvis, age 86, of El Dorado, AR, passed away Tuesday at the Medical Center of South Arkansas; born in Lambert, MS to Clifton and Carrie Lou Rowe Little; a member of Second Baptist Church; a PBX operator at Union Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents; second parents, Odie and Cora Owen; husband, W. E. "Sam" Purvis; brothers, Bill and Prentis Little; and sister, Eunice Carter. Survivors include son, Ralph Purvis and wife, Misti of Andalusia, AL; daughter, Paula Thigpen and husband, Mark of El Dorado, AR; brother, Walter Little of New Albany, IN; granddaughters, Dolly Porter and April Thigpen; grandson, James Purvis; great-grandchildren, Madison and Sidney Thigpen, Anna Belle and Madeline Porter; and special niece Becky (Jim) Worley of Flower Mound, TX. Memorials may be made to a charity of donor's choice.y 12, 2008
