February 5, 1890 - April 30, 1969
Mrs. Harriett Emily Walker, 79, of 1208 S. West Ave., died early Wednesday morning in a local hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Walker was born Feb, 5, 1890, in Forsyth, Mo., and had been a resident of El Dorado for the past 19 years making her home with a niece, Mrs. Eula Whiddon. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kirbyville, Mo. She leaves four nieces, Mrs. Whiddon and Mrs. Lindell Forbes, both of El Dorado, Mrs. Sam Simpson of Golden, Colo; and Mrs. T. V. Fulton of Montgomery, Ala.; and two nephews, Christy G. Zwahlen of El Dorado and Lee C. Zwahlen of Shreveport. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with Benny Bristow officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery under direction of Rumph Mortuary.
