SPRINGDALE — Lydia Maxine Joyner, 84, of Springdale died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Springdale. She was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Springdale to Jay and Delia Harp Bowen.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Rogers, and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Joyner, of the home to whom she was married for 65 years; two sons, Stanley Joyner and wife, Anita, of Dexter, Mo., and Leroy Smith and wife, Twila, of Rogers; her son-in-law, John Rogers of Springdale; one sister, Lena Hamilton of Rogers; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
