Oneta Elizabeth Abrams, 94, of Greenbrier, born Jan. 15, 1919, went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 20, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Garland Abrams; her parents, Isaac and Rosa Driskill; a brother Edmond Driskill; and a sister Lucille Milam Lipscomb.
She is survived by her son, Mitchell Abrams of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and daughters, Marilyn Wallace (Hayward), Margie Parker (Marshall), of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Freda Jones of San Diego, California; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She was a devoted mother, grandma, and great-granny. She loved to bless others with her great cooking, and also cooked professionally for many years. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be Monday, Sept. 23 at noon at Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Bro. Ed Stephenson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
