Penny Lynn Barkley, age 37, a resident of Hector, died Sunday, December 28, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Scottsville. She was born May 23, 1966, at Russellville, to Billy Ray and Wanda Eloise Cook Gray. She was an employee of Brangus Steak House in Russellville and a member of the Hatley Missionary Baptist Church at Dover.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Barkley of Dover; 4 sons, Joshua and Jerrod Branch both of Appleton, and Heath and Eric Barkley both of Dover; her parents, Billy Ray and Wanda Gray of Appleton; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Sharon Gray of Hattieville; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Gary Hull of Hot Springs and Billie and John Pawlicki of Appleton; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at the Welcome Home Free Will Baptist at Hector with Rev. Randell Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Appleton Cemetery at Appleton under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
