Pansy Elizabeth Medlock, 104, of Walnut Ridge, formerly of Portia, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Born March 22, 1911 in Black Rock, daughter of Robert Franklin and Mary Edna Holderman Pickney. She was a homemaker, a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the Portia Church of Christ for many years.
She was united in marriage to Harmon Ireland Medlock August 31, 1929 who preceded her in death October 31, 1966. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Louie, Ralph, Lillie, Marie, Bob, Fern and Millard.
Survivors include her daughter, Berniece Baker of Portia; a grandson, Vernon Dale Baker Jr and wife Lora of Grove, Oklahoma; a great granddaughter, Allyson Abdo and husband Neil Thomas of Oklahoma; two sisters, Patsy Ehrhardt Edwards of Hoxie and Judy Brannon of Louisiana; and brother, Joe Pickney, of Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Robert Davis and Gerald Fears will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be, Darrell Osburn, Terry McNeely, James Roy Pickney, James Freeman, Darrell Pickney and Gilbert Pickney.
